This is a series of four live, interactive learning collaborative activities focusing on suicide prevention and risk assessment. Participants will be guided through a series of care strategies and be given tools and time to engage with experts.
PRESENTERS
Pamela Llewellyn
MSW, LCSW-C, MBA
Senior Advisor, Behavioral Health Services
Pamela Llewellyn is a behavioral health executive with over 20 years experience executing behavioral health programs in various healthcare settings. She is a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical in Maryland, and a registered clinical supervisor for social work. Pamela has extensive leadership experience with hospital and facilities program management, behavioral health program marketing and development, regulatory compliance, and community stakeholder collaborations.
During her career, Pamela led efforts to develop programs and services for inpatient, outpatient, and intermediate levels of behavioral healthcare. Her breadth of experience includes developing primary care and behavioral health integration programs, high-risk utilization reduction strategies, and behavioral health strategic planning for healthcare organizations.
At Renaye James Healthcare Advisors, Pamela has worked with clients to develop and implement services in the areas of behavioral health and regulatory compliance.
Sharon Lipford
LCSW-C
Senior Advisor, Behavioral Health Services
Sharon Lipford has over 30 years of leadership in nonprofit, hospital and government organizations. She brings extensive leadership with strategic, policy, and operations in the behavioral health, criminal justice, crisis services, and population health systems.
During her career, Sharon has worked with numerous stakeholders in planning, developing and operating behavioral health crisis systems. She successfully led strategic partners to create and implement a multi-county, multi-hospital population health initiative to address chronic diseases and social determinants of health. This initiative improved health outcomes and reduced unnecessary health care costs in the hospital systems. For the last 18 years, Sharon has had the privilege of serving on a county-wide crisis negotiations team as a mental health professional.
